I could hear everything from neon din of the CNE to the waves lapping on Toronto Island. Your words and image were more seductive than a saxophone's wail spilling out of the Rex Hotel onto Queen Street. I will share this invitation....
Visited Canada, including Toronto, last year (from my home in the South Pacific) and I can vouch for the friendliness of the people, the beauty of the landscape (I went almost coast to coast by train) and the good experiences to have in the towns add cities.
I jokingly posted on Threads that I wanted to do a dating/marriage site for Americans who want to marry Canadians. Man, the Canadians came after me. Glad you two didn’t encounter that. Probably because you were there before Trump.
Fourth largest city in North America. We go nowhere in the summer. Wary of missing something.
Cheers
That’s funny.
Thanks Gail.
It sounds wonderful. A friend of mine moved there from London a few years ago.
Great, funny read.

We're coming! I'm going to leave all my American Made vacation $$'s with our neighbors to the north.
These photos are terrific. Highest quality combining people and places. Just as excellent as your writing!
Sending this to all my American friends and family. Thanks for this perfect description.
A love letter to the city we love. It is a special, wondrous place. Welcome to our home, world. Respect it and the mat is always out for you.
